Tassel Tree Wall Art

As a kid, I took private art group lessons. One of the first projects I remember working on was a Christmas scene.  I can’t quite remember what the actual assignment was but I can so clearly remember the Christmas tree, the brick fireplace with a roaring fire. I remember the grey cat, curled up on the rug and the stockings hanging from the mantle.

When I began dreaming up this project, it brought me back to this drawing. I could remember my teacher showing me how to draw a tree and today I share it with you.  These trees are much easier than they appear and remember it’s all about having fun with your craft!

Materials:

Wood plaque ( I like to recycle & use the back side of some of my old projects)

Paint

Yarn

Pom Poms & trim of choice
